Some Beautiful Architectural Designs
Here, It’s my first blog. Hope you like it!!
There are many beautiful buildings out there. Whether you would like them or not depends upon your taste. According to me, here are some excellent designs:
1.The Ribbon Chapel by Hiroshi Nakamura, located in Hiroshima, Japan
The Concept behind this architectural wonder is simply mind blowing. This is a wedding chapel with intertwining staircases, which cross paths at several points to provide support for each other, reflecting the symbolism of the unity of matrimony. It also symbolizes the twists and turns that two lives go through before uniting as one.
2. The Cayan Tower in Dubai, U.A.E
The Cayan Tower, located in Dubai Marina, spirals in a smooth curve by 90 degrees which gives every apartment a stunning view of the sea or the marina.
3. The Fallingwater by Ar. Frank Lloyd Wright, in Pennsylvania, U.S.A
This was an extraordinary house, that redefined the relationship between man, architecture and nature. When the clients commissioned Wright to design a house across from the waterfall, which had been in their family’s retreat for years, Wright took a step ahead and integrated the design of the house with the waterfall itself.
4. Madurai Meenakshi Temple in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India
This is quite a different style of architecture as compared to the previous buildings. My taste is generally minimal, contemporary or modern with just a touch of drama. However, the Dravidian style of architecture is awakens curiosity in me. There are various legends and myths surrounding this temple. Each and Every feature or element in the temple complex has a story to tell, which the architect in me simply adores.
5. Taj Mahal in Agra, India
To say the Taj Mahal is beautiful would be an understatement. The magnificent monument symbolizes the love and affection that Emperor Shah Jahan had for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. An Immense Mausoleum, made of white marble is one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage.
These are just some among the many masterpieces that have been designed and the above mentioned buildings are not in any particular order.
